"Io Dyne" was the second Urchin I made and honestly the most difficult to finish so far. The spines are glass rods from a chandelier, which were originally several inches longer. His skull & base are hollow and there is a light inside that transmits up the spines (impossible to see in this photograph, shot inside Burial Grounds during the exhibit; I will not get a better shot until I can bring him home or ship him to Mr. Wagner)

That's still pretty cool, I bet when it lights up, the clear rods would look like neon lights or something :eyepopping:

They have a blue or red luminescence depending on which light setting is switched on. It's pretty spooky.

That smiley is going to give me a seizure! LOL augh
